Hello Mary and Shannon! Here's the post we promised! It is hard to know where to start. We are so happy to have little Bonita (formerly know as Harle) in our family. She is gentle, yet spunky, sweet, smart and beautiful. She is a perfect match for our Little Prince (our Havanese male.) It was evident that you put time into housetraining and socializing our little girl before she came home to us. She already had an understanding of peeing on the pad when confined and going to the door to go out back to potty. That was amazing to us! We are impressed with your knowledge of dogs and the Havanese breed and it shows in the way you prepared Bonita to come home to us. Thanks for all the tips and help you gave us as well. Getting Bonita from you has been a pleasant experience for us and we highly recommend you to anyone looking for a Havanese. Thank you for our darling little Bonita Princessa! We LOVE this wonderful little puppy! Say hello to Pumpkin!

Hi, just looking at the breed for the first time. We have had other dogs between our two families (recently re-married). But we need a pet that is new to both families to keep everyone happy.
Curious at what the price is for your puppies. I've seen a very wide range for prices.

We are thankful to you for the newest addition to our family - Coby (formerly Limo) He has brought our family together more often as we sit and enjoy playing with him, watching him clown around or perform his tricks. He still has a beautiful creamy coat and everyone comments on how soft he is. When he comes to greet one of us, his entire body wags! He is growing fast...already over 7lbs. All of his baby teeth are now in and he's doing great. Our vet would like to keep him. He never barks, loves to give kisses, and is a wonderful pet. No allergies for me so we picked the right breed. Thanks again! We recommend Happy Paws Havanese to anyone looking for a wonderful, healthy puppy.

Shannon and Mary are incredible dog breeders. You can really tell how much they care about their dogs. My family acquired Riley a few weeks ago. I have been very impressed with the level of support they provide. Shannon has followed up several times to check and see how he is doing. Whenever I have had an issue or question, she has called or emailed me immediately with very specific, detailed advice. I would definitely buy another dog from Happy Paws. By the way, Riley is the best dog ever!!!!

Your dogs are beautiful. I am a Hav lover living in Davenport, IA. Our three-year-old Hananese, Rocco, is a very important part of our family. Thank your for providing great information and so many lovely pictures on your site.

WE HAVE HAD LIGHTNING FOR ABOUT 2 MONTH'S. HE IS JUST A GREAT DOG....GENTLE,SWEET,LOVABLE,SMART ETC. HE IS SO CUTE AND FUN. HE IS ALSO VERY WELL BEHAVED. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR RAISING HIM WELL, WE LOVE OUR LIGHTNING AND CAN'T IMAGINE NOT BEING IN OUR LIFE.
